How we decide a status

We compare three independent trackers (Egalis, Deloitte Legal, Trusaic) with official portals where we could reach them. Where they disagree, we show the more cautious status and say so on the country page. Anything not stated by a source is shown as "Not confirmed yet".

What counts as pay

The Directive counts basic pay plus any cash or in-kind consideration: bonuses, overtime, allowances, benefits in kind and employer pension contributions. The Commission's FAQ suggests flat benefits paid identically to everyone, such as lunch vouchers, need not be included (Commission FAQ, 6 Aug 2026).
